Randal Mathers MVB MRCVS

Randal is from Northern Ireland and qualified from Dublin in 1999. He moved to Aberdeenshire and joined the Meadows in 1999. Randal became a partner in 2004 and is mainly based in our New Deer surgery. He focuses mainly in large animal practice. He spends his spare time working on the family farm and teaching his three children Hannah, Jack and Amelie how to chase sheep!

Graeme Fowlie BVMS GPCert(EqP) MRCVS

Born and bred in Aberdeenshire, Graeme qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2001. He then worked for several practices before settling at the Meadows in 2005. He completed a certificate in equine medicine in 2008 and became a partner in 2010. When not at work he can usually be found playing cricket, snowboarding or chasing his black lab Ralph!

 

Ewan Jamieson BVMS MRCVS

A local loon, Ewan qualified from Glasgow Vet School in July 2011 and started working at the practice in August 2011. He enjoys the variation in mixed practice but especially enjoys the farm animal side. In his spare time he goes hill walking all over Scotland and helps out on the family farm.

James Gracey BVMS MRCVS

Originally from Northern Ireland, James moved to Aberdeenshire in 1996. He graduated from the Glasgow Vet School in 2010 and worked in Cheshire. He joined the practice in 2011 when he moved back to Aberdeenshire. James deals mainly with farm animals and enjoys dairy fertility work.

Andy Mertin MRCVS

Andy graduated in Berlin in 2006 and after working in Berlin for a year he moved to the UK in 2007. He worked in mixed practice in Leicestershire for 5 years before joining the Meadows in August 2012. Next to work he enjoys spending time with his dogs, Lewis and Thistle, and his horses. His other major hobbies include running and going to live music gigs

 

Rhys Ward BVMS MRCVS

Rhys graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2012 and undertook a farm internship in Dumfries and Cumbria. He then moved to Cheshire to work in mixed practice. He joined the practice in June 2014 and works between our Newdeer and Oldmeldrum branches and enjoys the variation and challenges of mixed practice. Originally from Guernsey, Rhys loves the outdoor life!

 

Louisa Watt BVM&S MRCVS

Louisa is newly graduated from Edinbrugh in 2017 and has just starting working full time with Meadows. Louisa is originally from Aberdeenshire and in her spare time enjoys walking her dog kyla and helping out on the family farm.

 

June Gall BVM&S MRCVS

June is a local quine having just graduated in 2017 and joined the team as a full time vet.
